Bullard Appears on D.C. Panel

Professor Mercer Bullard spoke on a panel on March 14 at the Consumer Federation of America’s annual assembly in Washington, D.C., about the new cost-benefit analysis requirements for federal regulators. He and his co-panelists, Robert Adler,commissioner¬†of the Consumer Product Safety Commission and Dan Berkovitz, general counsel of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, addressed the effect of proposed legislation on federal agencies’ independence and their ability to engage in rulemaking.
