Civil Rights Subcommittee of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee to Meet at the Law School

On September 27th, 2012, the Civil Rights Subcommittee of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee will be meeting at the University of Mississippi School of Law as part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the admission of James Meredith to Ole Miss. Subcommittee members from around the country will participate in both open and closed discussions at the Law School and Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez, who heads the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, is expected to be present as well.
