This five week course is brought to you by the Counseling Center.
It will meet every Tuesday from 5-6:30pm in Room 1115.
The first class is Tuesday, October 30th, the last December 4th.
Using the model of 1) Hear it, 2) Do it,3) Talk about it, we will take 6
weeks (one hour per week) to explore a variety of ways we can make peace
in our lives. This is a group for beginners. No experience is needed. The
specific techniques practiced in the class include:
Week 1: Rhythmic Breathing
Week 2: Progressive Muscle Relaxation
Week 3: Guided Imagery
Week 4: Guided Meditation
Week 5: Mindfulness
Week 6: Unfocused Meditation
This class will be specifically introducing ways to deal with test anxiety.
