Professor Jack Nowlin Named Associate Dean for Faculty Development

At the October 26th, 2012 Faculty meeting, the faculty approved the job description for the position of Associate Dean for Faculty Development. Additionally, Dean Richard Gershon selected Professor Jack Nowlin to serve in this newly created role. As the Associate Dean for Faculty Development, Professor Nowlin will be charged with serving the faculty by advancing a culture of scholarship, enhancing the scholarly productivity of our faculty, promoting excellence in research and teaching, facilitating and coordinating scholarly activities, and aiding in the placement, publication, and promotion of research.
