Prof. Yvette Butler and 3L Sarah Schnaithman have put together a panel focusing on constitutional implications of the Supreme Court’s recent rulings regarding LGBTQ+ individuals and resulting state legislations in the wake of those decisions. The panelists will be Stacie Pace, who opened the first MS clinic dedicated to the healthcare of transgender individuals; Sarah Schnaithman, 3L student who is community engagement committee co-chair for the Human Rights Campaign; Jason Starr, inaugural Litigation Director of the Human Rights Campaign; Isaiah Wilson, Program Coordinator, LGBTQIA+ Programs and Initiatives at UMiss; and CJ Winship, 2L student who is a former varsity soccer player for MS. State. Prof. Butler will moderate.
