Once thought to be a badge of honor that doctors could quickly “cure” with a sniff of smelling salt, concussions have now become the subject of litigation that could threaten the future of football and other contact sports.  Join us to learn about how the future of sports will be affected by the pending litigation with the NFL. Panel participants include Dean Andre Douglas Pond Cummings, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Indiana Tech Law School, Dean Jeffery Standen, Associate Dean for Faculty & Van Winkle Melton Professor of Law at Willamette University, Dr. Andrew Gregory, Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation, Vanderbilt University, Philip Thomas, Esq. and Todd Wade, retired NFL Offensive Tackle.

Light refreshments will be served following the symposium.

2 hours free CLE credit available to Mississippi Bar members
