On April 21, 2016, the Court of Appeals of Mississippi once again will travel to Oxford for oral arguments in two Criminal Appeals Clinic cases, which will be heard in Moot Court I. As a part of the “Court On the Road” program, the COA sits in a special session of court at Mississippi State University in the fall and the UM School of Law in the spring. This year marks the twelfth annual visit to the law school, and the Court will hear arguments in the cases of Jefferson v. State, No. 2015-KA-00948, and Adams v. State, No. 2015-KA-00520, and students in the current session of the Criminal Appeals Clinic will deliver the arguments. The briefs in the two cases were written by students from last semester’s Clinic: Jody Bevill & Ethan Lavelle and Chase Pritchard & Derek Goff, respectively
