Who Can Attend?: Students – 2L, Students – 3L, Faculty
The Pro Bono Initiative has partnered with Saint’s Brew of Tupelo, a food ministry for families at risk of homelessness, to offer two pro bono opportunities to UM law students. Once a quarter, students are paired with attorneys in the “Lawyer in the Parish Hall” Clinic to assist clients with legal issues. And once a month, students travel to Saints’ Brew to assist with the morning breakfast ministry of Saint’s Brew and to talk informally with Saint’s Brew clients about legal issues. Join Professor Hans Sinha and Will McIntosh (from the Innocence Project) for the quarterly legal clinic on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Students will leave the Law School at 6:00 am and return by 11:00 am. If you cannot attend this session please let us know if you are interested in the ongoing project.

The dates for the monthly morning breakfast ministry are Thursday, August 27, September 24, 2015, and October 29, 2015. Please let us know if you are interested in attending. The group typically leaves the law school at 6:00 and returns by 11:00 am.
