SECOND AND THIRD YEAR STUDENTS: PRO BONO OPPORTUNITY Thursday, September 18, 2014. Build hours toward the Pro Bono Credit hour, gain family law experience at the courthouse, and network with practicing attorneys.
The Pro Bono Initiative of the law school is co-sponsoring a project with the Lee County Bar and MVLP to assist self-represented litigants in completing pleadings and presenting family law matters. Students will work with local attorneys to assist Lee County residents with divorce, custody, child support, guardianship, and other family law matters.
The group will leave the law school at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, and return by 8:00 p.m. at the latest. The trip will count toward the Pro Bono Credit hour.
