Molly Fergusson

Professor of the Practice of Law, Co-Director of the Business Law Institute

Professor Fergusson joined the Law Faculty in 2001 after graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Law. In law school, she was an associate editor for the Mississippi Law Journal and chairman of the Trial Competition for the Moot Court Board. Her current courses include Legal Writing, Contract Drafting and Negotiation, Advanced Negotiation, Intellectual Property, and Trademark.

Professor Fergusson is a co-director of the Business Law Institute and faculty advisor to the Negotiation Board. Fergusson currently serves as the Reporter for the subcommittee of the Mississippi Supreme Court’s Rules Committee on Civil Practice and Procedure, which is restyling the Mississippi Rules of Civil Procedure.

Professor Fergusson was a founding member of the steering committee of the Mid-South Intellectual Property Institute and also served as chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Mississippi Bar.
