Business Insider has ranked University of Mississippi School of Law as the 24th best school in the nation for securing federal judicial clerkships for students. According to the website, 6% of UM Law students obtain federal clerkships.
“Federal clerkships are among the most sought after positions for new law graduates,” said Ben Cooper, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. “They also provide a terrific learning opportunity and a perfect transition into law practice. Our ranking is a reflection of the high quality of our students and the training that they are receiving at the Law School. We are very proud of our record of placing students into clerkships.”
