Why Ole Miss Law?
What Can You Do with a J.D.?
A J.D. is a foundational degree for a variety of careers, both legal and non-legal. Our alumni have practiced law in private firms and for government agencies, clerked for federal judges and Supreme Court Justices, and worked in non-profit advocacy agencies.
However, a J.D. is also and extremely beneficial degree that can open many doors beyond the traditional practice of law. Graduates of UM Law are also entrepreneurs, legislators, CEOs, and authors.
