12 UM Law Alums Admitted to U.S. Supreme Court Bar

The group was sworn in during a ceremony in November.

Twelve University of Mississippi School of Law alums were admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar during a group swearing-in ceremony in November, administered by Chief Justice John Roberts.

Newly admitted members included:

Alumnus Robert C. Jones (JD 86), shareholder at Greenberg Traurig in Washington, D.C. served as movant for the applicants.

In order to be admitted to the Supreme Court Bar, attorneys must be admitted to practice to the highest court of a state, territory or Washington, D.C. for at least three years before applying and have not received any adverse disciplinary action during the three-year period.
