Dedicated to supporting every law student in achieving their academic potential

Whether you're navigating your first year or preparing for the bar exam, we offer resources tailored to help you succeed at every stage of your legal education.  A key feature of the Academic Success Program is the Dean’s Academic Fellows initiative. These upper-level students serve as peer mentors, offering academic support and insight to first-year students through small-group meetings and individual mentoring.

We also support student success through 1L orientation and a variety of academic courses, including:

  • Professional Identity (1L course): Focuses on academic skills, career exploration, and professional development
  • Writing for the Bar Exam: Focuses on bar exam essay writing skills and strategies
  • Bar Prep I: Introduces bar-tested subjects and foundational skills for bar success; required for all 2L students
  • Bar Prep II: Builds on Bar Prep I with additional bar practice and skill building; required for all 3L students

Our goal is to foster a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where all students can thrive academically and professionally.
