Federal Bar Association Student Chapter Interest Meeting
March 8, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Interested in being a founding member of a student organization? Here’s your chance: the Federal Bar Association is coming to Ole Miss! Join McKenna Stone Cloud and Reese Neely, Law Clerks to the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 1:15 PM in room 2086 to learn about the FBA and how you can help start an Ole Miss Law Student Chapter. Refreshments will be provided!
The FBA is a nonpartisan national voluntary bar association with more than 15,000 members, including over 2,000 members of the Judiciary. It provides an excellent resource hub for federal legal practice content, networking, and programming. The FBA is excited to partner with local chapters and law schools around the country to give law students, legal interns, and recent graduates access to networking and career-building opportunities. Through both in-person and virtual panel presentations hosted by FBA leaders, federal agencies, federal judges, and other nationally recognized speakers, students will learn directly from practitioners about career development, missions and operations, enrichment, employment opportunities, and more. They will also have opportunities through their local chapters to meet attorneys and judges in their area. Student membership to the FBA is now free! To learn more about the organization, visit https://www.fedbar.org/membership/join/.
