50 years ago the National Black Law Students Association (BLSA) was founded by “AJ” Cooper. BLSA has cultivated a bold legacy of academic excellence, social activism, and servant-leadership all the while promoting a diverse and inclusive legal profession. Our members achieve great success not only in the classroom but also in a host of extra-curricular organizations such as the Mississippi Law Journal, Moot Court Board, Trial Advocacy Board, Negotiation Board, Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and the Public Interest Law Foundation. Each year we celebrate the achievements of our current students, alumni, and our organization. This is a banquet-styled event, and the attire is formal wear. The banquet will be held on April 6, 2018 at the Jackson Avenue Center. We hope to see you there!
