Lunch and Learn: Guidance on Course Selection for Students Pursuing a Business Concentration or Transactional Practice Area Focus

April 4 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

We are excited to announce a lunch meeting for first-year law students (1Ls) interested in exploring a career in transactional practice, including a business concentration. During this session, Professor Duran will offer thoughts about course selection where tax courses are concerned. Students will also hear from Dean Cooper (confirmed) and Professors Craig, Edwards (confirmed), and Baker who will describe the courses they teach (which include real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and secured transactions), when the courses are offered, prerequisites, etc.

This collaborative approach will ensure that students receive well-rounded guidance in choosing their courses to prepare for a successful business and transactional law career.

We look forward to a productive discussion and an opportunity to assist you in shaping your academic journey!

Lunch will be provided. STUDENTS RSVP BY TUESDAY, APRIL 2 VIA UMLAW12Twenty!
