Mississippi has one of the least efficient public defense systems in the country, and the state’s most vulnerable population are the ones being harmed. Andre de Gruy, head of the State of Mississippi’s Public Defense Office, will address these concerns and provide students next steps to address the problem. All are welcome, and lunch will be provided.
