The Public Interest Law Foundation (“PILF”) works to educate law students about the diversity of public interest law through meaningful volunteer opportunities and community involvement throughout the year. PILF exists to educate future lawyers about the struggles many people face in the legal system, particularly in impoverished communities. PILF also holds fundraisers year round so it can provide stipends to individual students who work in various unpaid public interest jobs over the summer. Our annual fundraiser is the live and silent auction. At the auction, students and the community will be able to bid on items and experiences in order to raise money for summer stipends.
