Elizabeth Hyde joined Gilchrist Donnell as an associate in January, 2018. Elizabeth previously practiced insurance defense with a firm in Oxford before attending Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she obtained her Master of Laws in Health Law. Since returning to her home state, Elizabeth has assisted physician groups, imaging centers, long-term care providers, and clinical laboratories in navigating the many regulatory hurdles within the healthcare industry today. She advises her clients on a broad range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, state fraud and abuse laws, state licensure laws, contract drafting, and post-payment audits and appeals involving government healthcare programs. Elizabeth also handles transactional matters for her clients, representing healthcare providers in joint ventures and acquisitions. Her clients include ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies, as well as state agencies.
