Kiger Sigh is the Research and Writing Specialist for Mississippi’s Northern District Federal Public Defender’s Office, where he handles all of the office’s appeals, writs of certiorari, and substantive motions. Before becoming a research and writing attorney in 2014, Kiger served in the District of Columbia as law clerk for the Honorable J. Michael Ryan from 2010-2011, and as law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer DiToro from 2011-2012.
From 2012-2014, he continued his service in the District of Columbia Superior Court as an attorney adviser in the criminal division. Kiger has been an adjunct professor since 2021. He lives in Oxford, Mississippi, with his wife, two kids, and three dogs. You may catch him playing soccer or golf (poorly).
