Kimberly McCray Hampton is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Mississippi. She is assigned to the Criminal Division where she serves as the Civil Rights Coordinator and Violent Crime Attorney. Since graduating law school, Kimberly has passionately served in the public sector. Before joining the Department of Justice, she served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Eleventh Circuit Court District of the State of Mississippi. She is a 2009 graduate of the University of Mississippi and a 2013 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law.
Kimberly is a 2018 graduate of the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum. Previously, she served as a Board Member for the University of Mississippi School of Law and currently serves as a member of the Mississippi Bar’s Ethics Committee. In 2022, she was appointed to serve as a Commissioner with the Mississippi Access to Justice Commission.
