Jordan Hughes

Research Counsel - Public Interest

Jordan Hughes is an alumna of the University of Mississippi, earning both her B.A. in History and Classical Studies in 2010, and her J.D in 2013. During Law School she found her passion representing indigent Mississippians through the Clinical Program’s Low Income Housing Clinic. After graduation she practiced law as a staff attorney for North Mississippi Rural Legal Services. She later served as the Director of the Mississippi Taxpayer Assistance Project, a Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, before returning to work for the University of Mississippi. Jordan is Research Counsel for the Low Income Housing Clinic and is also an Adjunct Professor teaching the Eviction Prevention Clinic. Jordan is admitted to practice in Mississippi and in the United States Tax Court.
