Private support provides the margin of excellence at the University of Mississippi School of Law. In 2012, nearly 550 alumni and friends provided over $2.8 million in private gifts to support scholarships, instruction, programs and the new Robert C. Khayat Law Center. Through decades of devoted support, the law school now boasts over 109 endowed scholarships and 25 endowments for programmatic support, benefitting the Mississippi Law Journal, the Moot Court Board and speaker and lecture series among other activities. Our alumni and friends also provided the majority of the needed $50 million in funding for the new Robert C. Khayat Law Center, a facility without equal, anywhere. The bond we share as alumni and friends of this storied institution is reflected in our tradition of support, and our shared pursuit of excellence.
