Current Fundraising Projects
Scholarships
Scholarship support for deserving students remains our top priority. In an increasingly competitive market, scholarships are vital to recruit and retain the best and brightest, and ensure access to education for all deserving students. By contributing to scholarships, you are helping prepare future leaders in the legal world.
Scholarship Campaigns:
- The Medgar Evers Scholarship: Professor John R. Bradley has challenged the law school community to donate $100,000 to the Medgar Evers Scholarship and he will match it dollar for dollar.
- Bessie Young Council: The mission of the Bessie Young Council is to provide scholarships to non-traditional law students.
Clinical Programs
The University of Mississippi Clinical Programs teach essential practice skills and professional responsibility through a reflective clinical practice that provides high-quality representation to underserved clients. To accomplish the dual goals of educating students and increasing access to justice, the programs offer a wide range of clinical practice areas, each focused on an area of demonstrated legal need and each offering unique skills training experiences. The programs aim to graduate students with real-world experience, an understanding of ethical obligations, and a commitment to furthering broad access to the legal system.
Lamar Order

Named in honor of L.Q.C. Lamar, a founding father of the School of Law, the Lamar Order administers substantial gifts for the benefit of the Law Center to encourage its recognition as one of the outstanding legal education centers in the United States.
